Jessica & Shane - 25 April 09
May 22nd, 2009 | in Weddings

Wow what a wedding. We had so much fun at Jessica and Shane's wedding. Everything was just perfect.

It was also great to see so many familiar faces amongst the guests, including a couple of past uber brides, their parents, portrait clients and random people who we recognized from other weddings. Seems like everyone knows someone in the Italian community.

A huge thanks to Jessica's Mum and Dad who made us so welcome from the moment we arrived at their place and made sure we had plenty to eat.

Some details from the wedding day.

Jessica's gorgeous wedding dress and shoes.  Jessica's designer (Velani by Nicky) also made the bridesmaids dresses and flower girl dresses. She did an amazing job.

This was a wedding all about the kids, they were just so cute.

The thing that makes every wedding so special are the emotions. These are the moments you can't create, they just happen. As photographers capturing these moments is the can be the hardest part but also the most rewarding by far.

Jessica and her Dad.

Shane's daughter and Jessica. This moment looks so perfect as if we posed it, but it really just happened like that and we were just there to capture it.

Jessica's mum and dad having some difficulty getting the veil on outside the church.

For the location photos we decided to stay away from the city centre as it was Anzac Day and we knew the city would be too busy. So we just found some streets with character and had fun.

The reception was held at the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre. Jessica and Shane run a catering company used to cater for wedding reception venues and some of the larger sports events so they are no strangers at putting on a show. They used all their resources to create an amazing room. Shane personally create the amazing this arrangement behind the bridal table.

Shane's staff was busy in the kitchen and of course Shane being a chef couldn't help himself and throughout the evening kept sneeking into the kitchen to keep and eye on his chefs.

The food was amazing, I lost track of all the amazing courses they kept bringing out. Then again when you are catering to a room full of Italians the food had better be top notch.

The first dance.

and finally their cool getaway.
