Melina and Jasen's wedding was one of the most colourful and lively weddings I have photographed. With a Greek bride and a Lebanese groom there was an amazing mix of cultures and traditions, and they even managed to include Jasen's love of rugby league into the day! Melina & Jasen were married at St Catherine's Greek Church in Mascot. The incredible decoration inside the church gave their ceremony photos a really rich and colourful backdrop. Before arriving at the reception, we took some photos at Balmain oval in honour of Jasen's favourite team, the Balmain Tigers. Melina & Jasen and their bridal party were so enthusiastic and we had a lot of fun, capturing some really different shots and the spirit of the day. Everyone at the wedding made me feel very welcome and one of the highlights for me was the dancing during the reception at Le Montage in Leichhardt. A mix of greek and lebanese dancing made for some very funny moments with the lebanese guys trying their hand at some traditional greek dancing. It was a pleasure working with George from Eurovideo, who was their videoographer. This is the link for their highlights slideshow with lots of my favourite moments from their special day.
