Kate and I have both been members of the AIPP for some time now. We are proud to me members as well as being on the council of NSW. So it was even more special when we entered the NSW AIPP awards this year and took home some awards. Kate's passion has always been photographing families. So when the AIPP introduced the 'Family' category for the first time in NSW Kate was determined to enter and do well. So it was awesome when Kate was announced as the NSW AIPP FAMILY PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR 2011. I was so proud of her to have been recognized for something she is so passionate about.
I focused on the wedding category and for the first time entered into the wedding album category. I was stoked to receive a silver awards for one of my wedding images and another silver award for one of my wedding albums. The wedding album I entered is one of our regular sample albums from the studio.
