Kathleen & Miro got married on a lovely sunny day. In the morning most of the action happened at Miro's house were the family were celebrating in typical Serbian fashion with home made spirits and food. In the meantime Kathleen and her family got ready at home. The ceremony was held at St Lazarus Serbian Orthodox Church in Redfern. The church has a great atmosphere and all the reflected light is red and golden. After the church we headed back to Miro's family home were Kathleen had to complete a couple of Serbian traditions such as throwing an apple over the house and lifting a baby. I guess we'll find out soon enough it works :-) The Reception was at Angelo's on the Bay, a great restaurant with great food. The morning started early at Miro's house. All the family friends gathered here and everyone who entered had to take a swig of Miro's family homebrew. Not surprising there was a lot of dancing and singing.
