After a very busy summer/autum wedding season we finally have a little more time to post on the blog.

We have loads of weddings to share with you & lots of great portraits that we have been shooting over the past couple of months.

I have just updated the recent wedding section of the website, so check out some of the slideshows of our recent weddings.

We are heading to Bali next week to photography Nick & Li's wedding at the amazing The Istana at Ulwatu in Bali, so check back for some photos over the next week.

The end of the year is starting to fill up fast, so if you are planning a wedding for the end of 2009 contact us quickly to make sure we are available for your wedding date.

I can't post without a picture. I love this photo of  the flowergirls and pageboys from Vanessa & Bryan's amazing wedding at Milton Park in Bowral.

Misato & Ben - 15 November 2009
May 26th, 2009 | in Weddings

Misato & Ben came back from Japan to get married in Sydney.

The wedding was a east meets west affair which included a traditional church service followed by Japanese traditions at the reception. The ceremony was held at St. Philip Church in the Sydney.

For the photos we found some grungy backstreets in the city, but of course we also did some traditional photos at the Opera House.

The reception was held at the Opera House Marquee, which was stunningly decorated.

You might recognize the tall groomsman Drew from his wedding last June, & Ben was his groomsman

happy day indeed.

Once the girls were ready we chilled out at the Horizon Bar.

Some grungy location photos.

The view from the Opera House during the reception.

Jessica & Shane - 25 April 09
May 22nd, 2009 | in Weddings

Wow what a wedding. We had so much fun at Jessica and Shane's wedding. Everything was just perfect.

It was also great to see so many familiar faces amongst the guests, including a couple of past uber brides, their parents, portrait clients and random people who we recognized from other weddings. Seems like everyone knows someone in the Italian community.

A huge thanks to Jessica's Mum and Dad who made us so welcome from the moment we arrived at their place and made sure we had plenty to eat.

Church: Villa Maria, Hunters Hill

Reception:  Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre

Some details from the wedding day.

Jessica's gorgeous wedding dress and shoes.  Jessica's designer (Velani by Nicky) also made the bridesmaids dresses and flower girl dresses. She did an amazing job.

This was a wedding all about the kids, they were just so cute.

Jessica at her mums place.

The thing that makes every wedding so special are the emotions. These are the moments you can't create, they just happen. As photographers capturing these moments is the can be the hardest part but also the most rewarding by far.

Jessica and her Dad.

Shane's daughter and Jessica. This moment looks so perfect as if we posed it, but it really just happened like that and we were just there to capture it.

Jessica's mum and dad having some difficulty getting the veil on outside the church.

For the location photos we decided to stay away from the city centre as it was Anzac Day and we knew the city would be too busy. So we just found some streets with character and had fun.

The reception was held at the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre. Jessica and Shane run a catering company used to cater for wedding reception venues and some of the larger sports events so they are no strangers at putting on a show. They used all their resources to create an amazing room. Shane personally create the amazing this arrangement behind the bridal table.

Shane's staff was busy in the kitchen and of course Shane being a chef couldn't help himself and throughout the evening kept sneeking into the kitchen to keep and eye on his chefs.

The food was amazing, I lost track of all the amazing courses they kept bringing out. Then again when you are catering to a room full of Italians the food had better be top notch.

The first dance.

and finally their cool getaway.

Josiah's big sisters go to school with my boys. It was a pleasure to be able to meet Josiah at just 6 days old. I know this little man is going to grow up very loved by his 2 big sisters.
