Catherine & David
December 13th, 2010 | in Weddings

Catherine & David's day started in the morning at Catherines place with a traditional tea ceremony. Following on we headed to David's place for the second tea ceremony and some food.

The ceremony took place at St Mary's Cathedral. Now this is a big church but Catherine & David brought along enough awesome friends & family not to get lost in the church :-)

Despite accidents on the M4 and M5 wand a fair bit if driving we managed to get to a rustic homestead to chill out and have some fun taking photos.

The girls had parasols, but somehow the guys ended up posing with them.

Catherine looks stunning even though it has been a long day.

Rebecca & Cliff - Halloween wedding
November 24th, 2010 | in Weddings

4 or 5 years ago Rebecca saw the photos we took at a friends wedding. So when it was her turn she didn't even hesitate to come and see us about photographing her wedding. Lucky for us since this was a great wedding. Both Rebecca and Cliff are extremely outgoing and funny so there was never a dull moment all day.

As it turns out we already knew Cliff's dad, Graham, as he is one of Passion 8 catering owners. We had worked with him on many Jewish weddings in the past.

It was a very local affair both families and the synagogue are located only 4 minutes from our studio in Killara.

For the photos after the ceremony we headed back to Rebecca's parents home. Her mum had the garden looking great and we couldn't ask for a better location.

The reception was held at the Four Seasons Ballroom. I think we all had high expectations of the reception, styling and food. Of course we weren't disappointed. Stephanie from Styled by Sting did an amazing job as always.

The food stations were amazing. The chocolate display left everyone speechless. Needless to say the food was amazing.

The atmosphere was amazing and it was a fun and great wedding to be part off.

Catering: Passion8

Styling: Styled by Sting

Band: John Fields Band

The atmosphere at Cliff's place is very relaxed as he is getting ready.

For the photos we ducked back to Rebecca's home where the gardens provided a great backdrop.

Cliff is not just a pretty face but he can rock it on stage.

Vanessa & Nick
November 16th, 2010 | in Weddings

Vanessa & Nick's wedding was a photographers dream, beautiful location at Lindesay House, a historic setting, gorgeous details everywhere from the flowers to the food and the many other things that Vanessa came up with.

Nick and Vanessa took advantage of the gorgeous rooms at Lindesay house to get ready in. Like stepping into a time warp the rooms resemble a museum or rather like the original owner just stepped out.

The ceremony itself was held in the gardens of Lindesay House overlooking Sydney Harbour.

Following the ceremony the guests played boules or chess while we headed down to McKell  for some photos.

Of course we also had to do some photos in and around Lindsay House to make the most the amazing setting.

The day ended up being perfect, it had a beautiful intimate atmosphere, the setting was amazing, the weather just held out and all the details were gorgeous.

Flowers: Portobello Rose

Catering: Katering

Celebrant: Coral Kortlepel

Venue: Lindesay House

Thao & Nam our 10.10.10 wedding.

It was an early start on the 10.10.10. The morning started for us with tea ceremonies at Thao's home and then Nam's house.

After the tea ceremonies there was a quick change of outfit and we headed to St Brigid's in Marrickville. Following on from the ceremony we took Thao & Nam to an old homestead to chill out and take some photos.

We ended the day with the reception at Villa Capri,  Cabramatta
