Fabiane & Daniel

Fabiane & Daniel decided to get married and 10 days later they were.

Hard to believe but they pulled it all together in 10 days, including booking us. They called on a Wednesday, we met on Thursday and on Sunday I photographed their wedding!

The wedding was held at Daniel's parents house, which backs onto the bush. So for the location photos we simply stepped out the back for some cool photos.

Fabiane comes from Brazil, so the reception had a destinctive Brazilian flavour to it, helped along by the Brazilian band.

Margaret & Scott came from WA to Sydney to get married.

Unfortunately they picked one of those rainy days. Nonetheless, B&W images with umbrellas have a certain charm to them :-)

For the location photos we kept indoors, around Martin Place and the Sheraton Hotel where they were staying.

After the ceremony we headed out to the Opera House for some quick photos

Daltone house joined their 2 large rooms to make one large room to accomodate the 400 guests

The surprise guest for the evening was Natalie Gauci. Marco organized it so that when the bridal walz started Natalie would start to sing from the back of the room where noone could see her, escpecially not Melissa. So while Melissa thought she was dancing to a recording the real Natalie Gauci makes her entrance as the spotlight turns on her. Finally Melissa realizes that she is actually walzing to the live performance os Natalie.

Heike + Gabi - Wedding Day

What better way to kick off the new blog with this gorgeous destination wedding we did in June.

Actually it wasn't so much a wedding as a mission, hence the name Mission Machado

Heike and Gabi got married in Bali and we came along for the ride to document the event. Apart from the actual wedding we covered the White Party the evening before the wedding and of course we did a Day After Shoot to get some cool photos of Heike and Gabi with more of a Bali feeling to them.

Heike + Gabi - Day After Shoot

The day after the wedding we took Heike and Gabi for a Day After Shoot around where they were staying. The idea was to capture some cool images and incorporate some the that Bali feeling into the images.
